Greek metal act Aenaon has checked in with the following year-end recap for fans:

"As 2011 comes to an end it seems that this was a good year for us. We would like to thank everyone who has embraced and supported us the past few months including a lot of new fans, our labels Code666 / Aural Music and of course the press, writers and reporters who really supported Aenaon's new eccentric touch.
"We reached almost a hundred amazing reviews worldwide and as this year ends more and more lists (e.g. Metal Storm) come up with 'Cendres et Sang' included in one of the best black metal albums of the year.
